Screen Before You Engage
Why a quick, consent-based identity and background check matters before you trust someone new — a help, a vendor, an employee or a tenant.

India has more than 140 crore people. Every day, we trust new people with important parts of our lives: house helps enter our homes, security guards protect our buildings, employees access company information, and vendors handle our money, goods and customers.
Most people are exactly who they claim to be. But what happens when someone isn't?
A visiting card can be printed overnight. An Aadhaar photocopy can be misused. A confident introduction and a mutual contact are not the same as due diligence.
Meet Screenzaa
Screenzaa is a comprehensive identity-verification and due-diligence service that helps individuals and businesses check before they engage.
The process starts with identity. With the person's consent, an Aadhaar face-liveness check completed through the official Aadhaar app helps establish that the person being screened is real, present and connected to the verified identity.
Screenzaa is a registered OVSE — UIDAI's framework for consent-based offline Aadhaar verification.
Once the identity is verified, Screenzaa can screen the submitted details against more than 200 Indian and global sources on eligible plans. These include:
- CBI, ED, RBI, SEBI and MCA records
- UAPA and Ministry of Home Affairs lists
- United Nations Security Council sanctions
- OFAC and other international sanctions databases
- Regulatory, law-enforcement and statutory lists
- Adverse-media, defaulter and other publicly available records, where applicable
This screening coverage draws on more than 15 years of compliance and screening experience.
A Small Check Before a Big Decision
Say you are about to pay an advance to a new supplier. The documents look fine, the conversations have gone well and nothing seems suspicious.
A Screenzaa check may reveal a public record connected to the supplier's identity that you would never have found through a normal Google search.
It may be the same person, or it may simply be someone with a similar name. Either way, you now know what to check before sending the money.
Sometimes, one extra question is all it takes to avoid a very expensive mistake.
- Screen before you hire.
- Screen before you rent.
- Screen before you appoint a vendor.
- Screen before you trust someone with access.
